简介

1965年生于安徽望江县太阳山下，自幼从父学楷书。90年代初赴深圳学习油画，从西方美术中获得独特的艺术悟解。2006年在深圳大芬村,为传扬中华古典文化,展现中国传统美学，以旧房改造的形式兴建深圳太阳山艺术中心。尔后在自己的建筑空间中重拾荒废数年的毛笔与宣纸，探索汉字的“複魅”，其作品往往尺幅巨大、气势磅礴、画风激扬，曰“激扬文字”。

陈求之的水墨创作以传统书法元素为先导，以汉字的结构形体之美为基本构架，以现代水墨结合现代艺术构成作为辅助，深度挖掘所选择的书写内容，以字、词、句当中所包含的丰富而深刻的文化内涵为旨，进而表达创作者不与人同的艺术理念与思想情感，创造性地回归到字、词、句本初的内涵与形象表达。其在纵横捭合间书写著生命激情，打破多年以来的传统书法程式，笔意相联,恣肆磅礴。他的书写章法布局险、奇、绝,胸有成竹，放笔直书，笔随心写间完成笔墨一次又一次新的重构，从而达到连他自己都意想不到的自由奔放、酣畅淋漓的艺术效果，随机生发而又充满灵性。

Born at the foot of Sunrise Mountain in Wangjiang County, Anhui Province in 1965, Chen Qiuzhi studied regular script with his father in his childhood. In the early 1990s, he went to Shenzhen in pursuit of oil painting, trying to perceive Western art in a unique way. With the ambition of promoting classical Chinese culture and aesthetics, in 2006, he renovated an old courtyard in Dafen Village into Sunrise Art Center, where he, after years of negligence of calligraphy, picked up ink brush and rice paper to explore the charm of Chinese characters. His works tend to be large and full of vigor and passion – “Characters of Passion” as he called them.

Chen's ink works are created with traditional calligraphy as the guide, with the structural beauty of Chinese characters as the framework, with the integration of contemporary ink and modern art as the auxiliary. He has dug deep into the selected contents,into the rich and profound cultural connotations of the characters, phrases and sentences, simply to express his unique artistic philosophy and emotions. He has also creatively restored the original connotations and images of characters. His works are overflowing with passion for life, breaking traditional calligraphy rules and their layouts are often well-designed and distinct. He is always confident to write at one stretch, repeatedly reconstructing the ink strokes with a free mind. The artistic effects are often free, hearty, spontaneous and spiritual, sometimes even out of his own expectation.

今年台北国际艺术博览会的主题是“无形的美术馆”。「收藏」到「分享」概念的普及，促使新形态艺术品展现的方式不断推陈出新，从私有空间到公共空间，从都市到乡村，相较传统美术馆行之有年的结构、组织与空间的束缚，「无形的美术馆」成为新时代的潮流，带给强调创造性、思维性的展览策画更多无限的可能。（来源台北国际艺术博览会官方说明）
